I'm going to keep death right here, so that anytime I even think about getting angry at you or anybody else, I'll see death and I'll rememberDiane Frolov and Andrew Schneider Charles Robert Mills, 69, of Lundale, WV departed this life on Friday, April 6, 2007 at CAMC Memorial Division in Charleston, WV after a long illness.
He was born on November 6, 1937 in Wayne County, WV. A son of the late Mont Mills and Hessie Copley Noel. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Paul Noel, who raised him.
Charles was a retired maintainence worker formerly employed with the Buffalo Creek Public Service District and worked for eight years as a coal truck driver for Pawnee Trucking Co., where his friends and co-workers knew him as Charley or "Rubber Duck". He was of the Baptist faith. Charles enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of almost 37 years, Anita Lawrence Mills; one daughter, Judy Kay (Scottie) Bryant of Lundale; one son, Wesley Grant Mills of Lundale; one brother, William "Bill" (Juanita) Fitch of Utica, Ohio; two grandchildren, Cassie Renea Staten and John Micheal Staten of Lundale; tow brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Andy (Jackie) Lawrence of Smithfield, NC and Diana (David) Wilbur of Midkiff and his nieces, Debbie Fitch of Utica, OH; Brenda Zeallear of Johnstown, OH; Jennifer Wiley of Midkiff; Amy Adkins of Midkiff; Leigh Ann Lawrence of Texas; Andy Lawrence of North Carolina; and Holly Lawrence of North Carolina. And a host of friends.
